This course package is mainly geared towards teacher students since it includes a didactic course that students on the teacher programme should take.

The general aim of English I (G1 Entry Level) is for students to develop a good proficiency in written as well as spoken English, and to acquire a basic understanding of the structure of the English language. Moreover, students are also given an introduction to the study of literature in English and to the culture and society of English-language countries in order to develop a cultural as well as linguistic understanding of native speakers of English. Although language structure and proficiency are specifically covered in courses such as grammar, phonetics, and writing, all our courses are aimed at helping you to develop as a communicative person in English.
