The Pre-master semester consists of four separate undergraduate courses. In the first study period you will have Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. The second study period is devoted to Market analysis for business and economics and Finance. These courses will give a foundation for the advanced courses in the master‘s programme in economics.

Students who have a Bachelor degree with only a minor in economics can apply for a pre-master semester at the Dalarna University. This pre-master semester contains a block of undergraduate courses in economics equivalent of 30 ECTS credits. Upon successfully completing the courses in this preparatory semester the students will automatically get a seat at the Master’s programme described above.
