This course is a distance course where all the resources shall be provided on Fronter in the form of written course material, films, articles, exercises, etc.
There are no physical meetings on campus but one online meeting is planned to give feedback on previous work and advice for your final project document which will bring together what you have learned during the course.
Communication throughout the course is via the course website, the course material, the course website Forum, direct email to the teacher(s), as well as personal feedback on assignments - please note there is no online chat function operated for this course, although as I stated above there will be at least one online meeting later in the course.
The course is designed to increase your written business communication skills whether you are a student or working. For those working in companies you will be asked to apply what you learn in the course to your current job eg producing marketing material, writing reports/emails, etc. For those who are students you will be given a scenario from which you will then create your document.
The course starts by going through the writing process and then each week we will focus on a particular type of business writing which you shall then practise and hand in by the deadline for feedback.
Information regarding the planned work schedule and the course in general will be available on the course Fronter page EN1128 (VT17) in February 2017.
