Tour at Falu Copper Mine

Join a guided tour through winding passages and deep shafts within the historic Falu Mine. This tour takes you through parts of the mine dating back to the 17th century, with twisting tunnels and grand chambers.

For much of the year, the Mine Museum is also open, offering an interactive experience that tells the story of the mine from Viking times up until 2001, when it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The event is organized by Student Dalarna, a collaborative group consisting of: Dalarna University, Dalarna Student Union, Borlänge Municipality, Falun Municipality, Kopparstaden, Tunabyggen, and Dalarna Science Park.
