For 40 years, Dalarna University has led the way in research and education in the field of sustainable energy, with a special focus on solar energy and its applications. This research has contributed to innovative energy solutions and trained the next generation of energy scientists and engineers.

On 3 October, Dalarna University’s annual job fair took place at Campus Borlänge, an event that brought together over 400 university students.

Dalarna University's new, state-of-the-art campus in Borlänge was officially opened at a well-attended ceremony on Monday. The new campus is a creative and flexible place for education and research in the areas of data and IT, tourism, society and culture, economics and technology.

At Dalarna University, a new project is set to increase innovation and research in solar energy and battery technology. A new laboratory environment for applied solar power technology and medium-sized battery storage will be built and integrated with the existing energy technology resources.
