The job fair serves as a central meeting point, where employers and students from both national and international programmes can make valuable connections.

– It's inspiring to see so many active students taking the opportunity to build networks. The job fair is a worthwhile event that links industry with education, explains Maria Jansdotter Samuelsson, Acting Pro-Vice-Chancellor at Dalarna University.

Students had the opportunity to meet employers from various sectors to discuss future career opportunities, internships, and potential part-time jobs. In total, more than 38 exhibitors participated from industries such as construction, IT, energy, finance, and human resources.

Matteus and Anton, second-year students in the computer science programme, visited the fair looking for internships and interesting employers in the IT sector:

– I’m here today to connect with IT companies in Dalarna and learn about what they do and what services they offer. It seems like there are plenty of jobs for computer scientists, which is great, says Matteus.

– It’s really good that a day like this has been organised on campus. I’d like to remain in Dalarna to work and not have to move to Stockholm, and it looks like there are some IT jobs here, says Anton.
