Research in the English department

Research in the English faculty department is conducted within two: Intercultural Studies and Education and Learning.

English faculty are actively involved in a wide variety of research interests within linguistics, literary studies and various specialisations in didactics and education, with funding from both internal and external sources. The staff include their research interests in their teaching. They are also active at international conferences and workshops, as well as engaged in many national and international networks.

Journals

Nordic Irish Studies Journal
Nordic Irish Studies (NIS) is a peer-reviewed journal, indexed in the MLA International Bibliography and published by Dalarna University Centre for Irish Studies (DUCIS). Dr Billy Gray and Dr Carmen Zamorana Llena are the editors.
Landscapes: the Journal of the International Centre for Landscape and Language
Landscapes is an open-access, interdisciplinary and fully refereed e-journal, publishing work within the area of environmental humanities. Dr David Gray is one of the editors.
