Do you have questions about information retrieval, references, or academic material? Library staff can help students and employees at Dalarna University with these questions during drop-in times or pre-booked appointments.

Drop-in Times

On Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout the academic semester, a librarian is available in Zoom on a drop-in basis. Here you can get help and talk about such subjects as: 

  • searching for literature 
  • evaluating sources 
  • writing references  

Day and Time 

Wednesdays 9.00 – 10.00 
Thursdays 14.00 – 15.00 

With reservation for change.

To the Zoom Room

Drop-ins - Practical Information

  • You will join a waiting room when you enter Zoom. The librarian will let you in when it is your turn.
  • You do not need to have your camera on. 
  • You can attend on your own or with somebody else.
  • You can share your screen in Zoom.
  • You can use the web version of Zoom or download the app.

Book a Time

Students and staff can book an individual guidance session on Zoom with a librarian. This will enable us to give you more in-depth help with, for example:

  • using keywords
  • structuring your search strategy and selecting appropriate databases
  • answering your reference questions and using the reference management programs Zotero and EndNote
