Databases – construction and energy engineering

These databases are relevant for you who's studying construction and energy engineering.

  • References to literature in energy research.
  • The collection contains engineering related full-text articles and a comprehensive index to world literature on technological and engineering innovations going back to 1966.
  • This free research database provides scholarly, government and general-interest sources covering the environmental effects of individuals, corporations and governments and what can be done at each level to minimize negative impacts.
  • Journals, conference proceedings and standards from IEEE. Includes also conference proceedings and one journal from Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE).
  • Full text archive. Scientific journals and other scientific material on a wide range of subjects. Usually no access to the most recent issues.
  • OSTI.GOV makes discoverable research results from US Department of Energy and its predecessor agencies. Research results include journal articles/accepted manuscripts and related metadata; technical reports; scientific research datasets and collections; scientific software; patents; conference and workshop papers; books and theses; and multimedia.
  • Electronic journals from Elsevier.
  • Scopus is an interdisciplinary database with scientific literature in various subject areas. It also a database for citation searches.
  • Interdisciplinary database with references from scienctific journals, books, reports and conferences in various subjects. It also a database for citation searches.

  • DiVA – Dalarna University
    DiVA is the publication database of Dalarna University. In DiVA, you will find research publications and student theses written by PhD students, researchers and students at Dalarna University.
  • DiVA Portal
    This is the national portal to DiVA where you will find research publications, dissertations and student theses published at around 50 universities and research institutions.
  • Dissertations.se
    Swedish doctoral and licentiate theses.
  • Libris
    Joint library catalogue for Swedish university and university college libraries.
  • Swepub
    Joint database for the scientific publishing at Swedish universities and university colleges. A large part of the material is available in fulltext.
  • Essays.se
    Swedish student theses at bachelor's and master (1 year) level.

Standards

These databases contain standards.

  • Data about materials and material standards.
  • Contains a selection of standards in full text from SIS (Swedish Institute for Standards) etc. More standards can be added to the abonnemang. Send queries about more standards to the library bibinfo@du.se.

    Contains patents granted by U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI).
  • Espacenet
    The European Patent Office's database which grants you access to over 130 million patent documents.
