How to assign publications to the SGDs
In DiVA, you as a researcher can assign the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to your publications. You can do this when registering new publications in DiVA.
The Scopus database gives information about how a publication contributes to one or more SDGs. All articles by Dalarna University researchers that are published in journals and indexed in Scopus are regularly imported into DiVA. The library oversees this. For publications in which SDGs are specified, the same information is added to DiVA. This is the case with Scopus publications from 2024 onward.
If you are a researcher, you can add or change how your publication is connected to SDGs. If your publication:
1. has not been imported from Scopus but has been added manually by you,
2. was retrieved from Scopus before 2024, or
3. is already tagged with one or more SDGs by Scopus, but you, as researcher, disagree with its assessment
then you can make additions and changes. This is how:
- If there is a full text in the DiVA entry, you need to email the library and state which SDGs you want to add (or remove).
- If there is no full text in the DiVA entry, you yourself can add one or more SDGs directly in DiVA.
