Ewa Wäckelgård, Deputy Head of School, acting as moderator, welcomed an audience of circa 50, and presented the programme which included 11 presentations during the morning session.
During the afternoon a display of ca 30 posters gave visitors the chance to learn about each ongoing project in discussion with the researchers. The posters varied in themes from electromagnetic pollution to digital twin for older adult care.
The day ended with a panel discussion lead by the Head of School, Joakim Storck, with participants from Hitachi Energy and SSAB, as well as Acting Pro-Vice-Chancellor Maria Jansdotter Samuelsson and Professor Yves Ryrbarczyk.
Reflecting on the day, Ewa said “We were really pleased to see so many from our School and invited companies gathered together to discuss research”.
The next Research Day is planned for 2024 in our new campus.
