My research and teaching focus on literatures in Spanish. My primary area of research is literature in the Spanish Golden Age and contemporary Afro-Hispanic migration narratives.
I graduated from Uppsala University in 2014 with a PhD in Romance languages with a focus on Spanish-language literature. From atuumn 2014 I teach and research at Dalarna University.
I teach undergraduate courses in Spanish, particularly in contemporary literature from Spain and Latin America, and literary history. I also supervise undergraduate theses in literature and graduate theses in didactics. I have taught courses in culture and society, grammar and phonetics. In addition, I participate in the Master's programme in Intercultural Literary Studies, in which I contribute with seminars on topics such as migration and magic realism in Latin American literature.
My current research areas and interests are migrant narratives, collective writing, and science and literature in the Spanish Golden Age.
