Senior Lecturer in Social Work
Before I started to work in academia I worked as a social worker and art therapist in the disability field for ten years.
I teach at undergraduate, master's and postgraduate level. My teaching concerns topics such as implementation, mental (un)health, disability and scientific method.
My research primarily concerns mental health and ill health, from a societal perspective as well as an organization and individual perspective. Visual research methods, e.g. photo voice, is something I like to use. I try to include a user perspective in all of my research projects.
