I research and teach on assistive technology. Currently, I lead the development of a new bachelor's programme focussing assistive technology. Previously, I have been Subject Coordinator of medical science.
I hold a Doctor of Phiosophy in Medical Science, a Master's of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Diploma in Rehabilitation Engineering. Commissioned by WHO, UNICEF and other organizations, I have worked for improving the access to assistive technology, especially in low-income countries. In Sweden, I have worked on design of, regulations for and research on assistive technology in both private and public sectors.
I teach assistive technology, and supervise students of different education programmes and PhD students.
