I am a biostatistician and epidemiologist and adjunct professor at Dalarna University since 2021.
I am educated at Uppsala University and have worked as a teacher in statistics and as a biostatistician at the Faculty of Medicine in Uppsala and at several life science companies. For ten years I was head of the section for biometrics at Uppsala Clinical Research Center.
I am among the 2% highest ranked researchers in the world according to Google Scholar (https://www.adscientificindex.com/scientist/lars-berglund/1400620). I have produced 155 scientific papers and I am the co-author of 56 doctoral theses. I am the academic editor of two journals.
I work with biostatistical and epidemiological research with applications in cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, obesity, dementia and IVF treatment.
At Dalarna university, I work with projects on pain after myocardial infarction, UDDGait and a study on music therapy for patients with dementia and their relatives. In addition, I work with shorter consultations and with seminars.
