Description
The aim of the project is to study the role of emotions in therapeutic interventions against violence. Special focus is given to the importance of feelings of shame and pride and the possibilities for producing a stable social bond between therapist and client and the impact on the effectiveness of the violence intervention. An analysis of the use of evidence criteria by correctional services to establish evidence for treatment in correctional settings is currently underway. Recently, a study of the use of different treatment methods by correctional services and open treatment has been completed and published.
