Description
The research program is conducted at Marie Cederschiöld University College and is a central part of the research on Swedish civil society. The population surveys that have been conducted make it possible to follow the civic engagement of the Swedish population since the early 1990s and show who is engaged in what and how this engagement is expressed. The next survey will be conducted in 2024 and will be the seventh in the series. Together they cover a period of 32 years.
The overall aim of the program is to provide in-depth knowledge of the conditions for civic engagement. The surveys make it possible to follow how voluntary work, financial donations and political engagement change and are expressed in the Swedish population.
