  • Based on an evidence-based approach, analyze the significance of how age changes affect multi-morbidity, mental illness and dementia based on the individual‘s physical, psychological and social situation 
  • Based on an evidence-based approach, problematize and demonstrate knowledge of pharmacology and safe medication management regarding the elderly person‘s prescribed medication 
  • With an ethical and person-centered approach, analyze and problematize the importance of good nursing in the case of physical and mental ill-health apply current research in the planning of care for multimorbidity, mental illness and dementia 
  • Problematize and plan for sustainable and good care in case of age changes based on a micro, meso and macro perspective

  • By the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare issued Registered Nurse and Bachelor Degree in nursing, or a minimum of 180 credits with at least 90 credits in nursing science which 15 credits comprise a thesis

Higher rate of web-based communication where our learning platform (Learn/Canvas) is a natural element of the course. Web-based meetings with sound and image where simple presentations can be held. Lectures can be broadcast live or can alternatively be made available afterwards online.
