Learning outcomes for the course
On completion of the course the student will be able to:- demonstrate knowledge of current research questions and theoretical concepts in western literary theory, as well as to critically analyze and assess these concepts and theories as scholarly methods for literary analysis
- independently apply a selection of literary theories in analyses of literary texts, and argue for his or her own interpretation in clear and correct English.
