This course provides an introduction of programming languages in data science field. The course focuses on the foundational development skills of data structuring, flow control and object orientation for problem solving.
It compromises the basics like variables and operators, statements, and data types and data structures. Logical decisions making is also covered in the course. Furthermore, object-oriented programming (OOP) covers how to create methods and classes, handle errors and use libraries. Finally, it introduces how to apply programming in data analysis, reading and writing data files, processing data, and data visualization.
