Learning outcomes for the course
On completion of the course, students shall be able to:
- describe the development of Russian literature during the 19th century and up to 1917
- analyse and interpret literary works from this period
- describe the ideological and literary debate during this time period and discuss how it is reflected in literary works
- formualte, independently, an issue for a short scientific essay
- use theories and methods in a delimited scientific study
- critically review another essay.
