Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • discuss theories, models and central concepts in relation to complex systems, system safety and improvement knowledge,
  • critically reflect both on how quality and safety management is organised and regulated at the micro, meso and macro levels as well as on the requirements for and promotion of improved safety, and
  • evaluate, apply and argue for choices of models, methods and tools in the work to make systematic improvements where the focus is on safety.

Prerequisites

  • Degree containing a minimum of 120 credits

This course cannot be counted towards the same degree along with courses that have equivalent content.
