Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
- discuss theories, models and central concepts in relation to complex systems, system safety and improvement knowledge,
- critically reflect both on how quality and safety management is organised and regulated at the micro, meso and macro levels as well as on the requirements for and promotion of improved safety, and
- evaluate, apply and argue for choices of models, methods and tools in the work to make systematic improvements where the focus is on safety.

The grading scale used for the final course grade is U–G.

- Safe Health Care and Social Care - Complex Systems and Improvement Knowledge - 7.5 Credits | U–G
Prerequisites
- Degree containing a minimum of 120 credits

This course cannot be counted towards the same degree along with courses that have equivalent content.
If the student has received a decision/recommendation granting study support from Dalarna University because of a disability, then the examiner has the right to offer an alternative examination arrangement. The examiner takes into account the objectives in the course syllabus when deciding whether the examination can be adapted in accordance with the decision/recommendation.
