Learning Outcomes

On completion of the course, students will be able to:

• demonstrate the ability to plan, lead and evaluate training that creates the right conditions for movement and performance development for different groups of powerlifting athletes
• discuss the role of the powerlifting coach from various didactic perspectives in relation to how these influence the forms and expressions of the sport

 

Course Content

The course focuses on students acquiring the ability to plan, lead and evaluate powerlifting training for different target groups of powerlifting athletes. Further emphasis in the course is on students being able to discuss the role of coach from a didactic perspective of powerlifting in relation to the different forms and expressions of the sport.
