Learning Outcomes

On completion of the course, students will be able to:

• demonstrate the ability to plan, lead and evaluate training that creates the right conditions for movement and performance development for different groups of climbers
• discuss the role of the climbing coach from various didactic perspectives in relation to how these influence the forms and expressions of the sport

Course Content

The course focuses on planning, leading and evaluating climbing training for different groups of climbers. Furthermore, the role of the coach in this sport is discussed from various didactic perspectives in relation to how these influence the forms and expressions of the sport.

Assessment

Written assignment and oral presentation.

Forms of Study

Lectures, seminars and practical exercises.

Grades

The Swedish grades U–G.
