Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
- try out, analyse and evaluate ergonomic adaptations of movements in different
situations, - explain and discuss work environment aspects for teachers of physical education
and health, and how teachers can maintain a sustainable work environment, - explain people’s varying nutritional needs and energy consumption,
- analyse and problematise discourses on diet in different contexts.
Course Content
- Ergonomical adjustment of movements in different situations,
- Aspects of working environment and methods for sustainable working environment for physical education teachers,
- Arbetsmiljöaspekter för lärare i idrott och hälsa och hur idrottslärare kan bedriva ett hållbart arbetsmiljöarbete
- Humans‘ variation in nutritional needs and energy consumption,
- Analysis and problematisation of nutrition in different contexts.
Assessment
- Embodied presentation,
- Written assignment,
- Oral presentation,
- Oral examination.
Grades
The grading scale used for the final course grade is U–VG.
Grades are reported as follows:
- Working Environment, Ergonomics and Nutrition - 7.5 Credits | U–VG
Prerequisites
- Admitted to CPD education for Teachers
Other Information
This course cannot be counted towards the same degree along with courses that have equivalent content.
If the student has received a decision/recommendation granting study support from Dalarna University because of a disability, then the examiner has the right to offer an alternative examination arrangement. The examiner takes into account the objectives in the course syllabus when deciding whether the examination can be adapted in accordance with the decision/recommendation.
