Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students shall, in Italian, be able to:
- orally and in writing illustrate, discuss and compare the chosen fictional texts
- explain words and expressions from the texts that have been read
- make simple analyzes of fictional texts applying basic literary concepts
- explain the social, historical, geographical and cultural relations described in the texts that have been read.

Continuous assessment of active participation during seminars, oral presentations, and written assignments.
Forms of Study
Grades
The Swedish grades U–VG.
To achieve the grade of VG in the whole course, students must achieve VG in both modules.
Reporting of grades:
Module 1: Active participation in seminars and oral presentations - 3 cr
Module 2: Written assignments - 4.5 cr
Prerequisites
- General entry requirements and Italian 3 or the course Italian: Beginners Course II, 15 credits. Exemption from Swedish can be given.
Other Information
Teaching is web-based through the use of learning platforms and digital tools. Students require a computer with a sound card and internet connection, a headset with microphone and headphones, as well as a webcam.
