Learning Outcomes
On completion of the course, students will be able to:
- produce different kinds of creative texts
- in a structured way summarise the content of German non-fiction
- critically analyse texts from a linguistic point of view
- demonstrate knowledge of the structure of German and apply this to their own texts as well as the texts of others
- adopt a contrastive perspective in German towards Swedish
- demonstrate independence in their studies and reflect on their own learning.
Course Content
In the course, students work to improve their written production through exercises in so-called process writing, where grammatical accuracy and an idiomatic way of expression are sought, as well as an adaptation of the language to a selection of different types of text production. Students work to improve their competence in the written language by analysing idiomatic expressions and grammatical constructions as well as by explaining and presenting an argument for how they reasoned.

Grades
The Swedish grades U–VG.
To achieve the grade of VG for the whole course, students must achieve VG on 4.5 credits.Reporting of grades:
