Prerequisites
- Bachelor Degree of 180 credits in the field of Humanities, Social Sciences and 30 credits on second level in Humanities or Social Sciences, of which at least 15 credits in Swedish as a Second Language
Summary in English
In this course, students specialise within an area in the field of second languages by independently planning and implementing a well-defined research assignment that adds new knowledge to the field. The work is carried out in the form of a writing process where the students present, defend and discuss their work with the supervisor and other students. The work is presented in the form of a scholarly paper. During the work process and at the defence, students will review and discuss scientific method and theory, with regardsw to both their own thesis and those of their fellow students. The assignment also includes the opposition of another student‘s thesis.
