Dalarna's Student Union has two main goals: to ensure that students receive a high-quality education and also to ensure that they have opportunities for an active and rewarding student life. By becoming a member, you gain access to a wide range of activities and many ways to get involved.

The Intro Masters

It's time to celebrate the start of your studies. The Intro Masters plan activities for the first two weeks of the semester (introveckor in Swedish - introduction weeks in English).  The activities planned are opportunities for you to meet other new students while also getting involved in a variety of social and festive activities.

Academic Resource Centre and Language Support

The Academic Resource Centre aims to support and assist you in your studies and also to help with your academic development and personal growth.

Language Support is for students who want to improve their academic writing skills. It holds tutorials and workshops throughout the semester.

Falun and Borlänge Municipality

Malin Kvarnström and Per Sjölander from the business and enterprise offices in the municipalities of Falun and Borlänge are available to provide you with support during your studies. They focus on helping you find safe housing, enjoy your time as a student, and establish connections in the professional world to simplify your job search after graduation.

Our Campuses

Dalarna University has two campuses: one in Borlänge and one in Falun. Campus Falun also houses our media programmes at Mediahuset, located a 20-minute walk from Campus Falun. The distance between Campus Falun and Campus Borlänge is approximately 20 kilometres, with good bus connections available from early in the morning until late in the evening.
