Political Developments in Ukraine

Thomas Sedelius, Professor of Political Science at Dalarna University, has been studying political developments in Ukraine for many years. As part of his work, he wrote a report proposing how Ukraine should change its constitution to facilitate democracy.

Neighbouring Countries and Russian Minorities

Kjetil Duvold, Associate Professor (Docent) of Political Science, has studied political developments in the former Soviet Union, with an emphasis on Russian minorities outside Russia, particularly in the Baltic States. He recently wrote a book on political culture in the Baltic States in which he focuses on nation-building in the field of tension between European integration and the return of Russia under Putin.

Ukrainian Refugees in Swedish Schools

Madeleine Michaëlsson, Senior Lecturer in Educational Work, can answer questions about schools and the reception of refugees from Ukraine in Dalarna: for example, the schooling and learning of newly arrived pupils, and the way trained teachers from Ukraine can qualify to be teachers in Sweden.
