French III: Linguistic Analysis - Theory and Method

On completion of the course, students will be able to:
  • describe a selection of theories and methods used for analysis in French linguistics
  • identify a research question for the analysis of authentic linguistic data based on previous linguistic research
  • carry out and present an analysis of authentic linguistic data using relevant linguistic methods
  • discuss and give constructive feedback on the work of other students.

Means of Education:

Higher rate of web-based communication where our learning platform (Learn/Canvas) is a natural element of the course. Web-based meetings with sound and image where simple presentations can be held. Lectures can be broadcast live or can alternatively be made available afterwards online.
