Learning outcomes for the course
On completion of the course, the student should be able to:
- demonstrate basic knowledge of clause types in Russian
- describe characteristic differences between different clause parts of the sentence and describe their functions in Russian
- apply relevant syntactic constructions in the translation of chosen texts into Russian and use Russian conjunctions in a correct way
- demonstrate basic knowledge of the stylistic characteristics of Russian through the translation of chosen texts into Russian
- write their own texts in Russian with different stylistic characteristics.
